The historic Orient building, located at Lot 12, Plot 44-14 in Marfaa, downtown Beirut, Lebanon, is set to undergo a comprehensive refurbishment and transformation. The project envisions the preservation of the existing historic structure while repurposing it into a mixed-use development. This development will encompass Class A office spaces spanning floors 1 to 4 and a commercial retail area on the ground floor. Additionally, the project will incorporate 2.5 basement levels designated for storage and technical purposes.
While preserving the southern façade of the existing building, the project will involve the demolition and refurbishment of the building’s structure. Furthermore, it will introduce a new satellite building, linked to the existing structure through a flexible service core.
